CURRENT PROJECTS
Project Overview : Simple Suppers

Simple Suppers is a project aimed at helping individuals and families make the most of their money while enjoying nutritious, home-cooked meals.
The course focuses on teaching smart budgeting techniques and the use of affordable ingredients to create delicious dishes.

As part of the Simple Suppers project, we offer intergenerational cooking classes led by Lynda. These classes provide a unique opportunity for participants to learn how to prepare healthy meals on a budget.
Additionally, they foster community connections by bringing together people of different ages to share in the cooking experience. Through these sessions, we aim to bridge the gap between generations, one meal at a time.
Project Overview : All About You

All About You” is a 6-week course designed to help individuals re-enter the workforce with confidence.
Delivered at The Hub in collaboration with Blackpool & Fylde College, this course focuses on equipping participants with the skills to recognize their strengths and take proactive steps towards improving their work life.

The ultimate goal is to help participants find stable employment in organizations, such as the NHS, which offer benefits like training & pensions.
In addition to career development, the course also addresses social isolation by fostering friendships and connections among participants. By creating a supportive community, “All About You” aims to empower individuals both professionally and socially.
